چکیده

Abstract Due to its better mechanical qualities and corrosion resistance, metal inert gas weld hardfacing is popular in both the manufacturing research sectors also contributes longer machine element service lives. It defined as a method of achieving desired surface attributes by employing welding procedures on structural materials with relatively low cost, known substrate materials. The helps two important aspects improving material qualities: first, it improves characteristics that depend (such wear resistance), second, rely mass, such hardness, durability. This article reviews several studies have been done so far various substrates area improve microstructure, corrosion, characteristics. According past researchers, MIG parameters play crucial role can be optimised get desirable output enhanced tribological, mechanical, properties. writers made an effort address recommendations for future work this field. Present researchers using would benefit from outcome paper, which useful many industries.

Prediction and Optimization of Mechanical Properties of St52 in Gas Metal Arc Weld Using Response Surface Methodology and ANOVA

Many researchers have developed algorithms to predict welding parameters. The variety of welding types is broad because the confine mixture of pressure and temperature could be selected. This paper introduces a response surface methodology (RSM) for optimization and prediction of the influence of Ar and CO2 gases and electrical current on tensile strength of St52’s gas metal arc weld (GMAW) lin...

Artificial neural network modeling of weld joint strength prediction of a pulsed metal inert gas welding process using arc signals

This paper addresses the weld joint strength monitoring in pulsed metal inert gas welding (PMIGW) process. Response surface methodology is applied to perform welding experiments. A multilayer neural network model has been developed to predict the ultimate tensile stress (UTS) of welded plates. Six process parameters, namely pulse voltage, back-ground voltage, pulse duration, pulse frequency, wi...

Radial basis function neural network model based prediction of weld- plate distortion due to pulsed metal inert gas welding

Welding shrinkage and distortion affect the shape, dimensional accuracy and the strength of the finished product. This work concerns the prediction of welding distortion in a pulsed metal inert gas welding (PMIGW) process. Six different types of radial basis function network models have been developed to predict the distortion of welded plates. Six process parameters, namely pulse voltage, back...
